Hi fellas!

I'm trying to move everything from a workset to "workset1", how can this be done?
Removing the workset doesn't seem to work (greyed out even after using "Editable)

Thanks in advance!

  • open a 3d overall View
  • in VGO , go to Workset and hide all Worksets but the one you want to merge to other workset
  • with Cross Selection select everything that appears on display (only that one workset) and from Properties change the Workset to the desired one.

FYI, you can't remove Workset1, see here. You can rename it, though.

I actually tried this, but the option/parameter "Workset" was greyed out here as well. I guess that some objects can't be moved? (...can groups be moved?)

you can not delete a Workset unless it is empty..exception for Workset 1 that can not be deleted but you can change its name...

If you make a Group, then every member of the Group will move to the Active Workset...even if you Ungroup , the elements will remain on the former Group's Workset...

use Worksharing Display Settings in order to make visible Workset by colors - it is much easier to identify which is on what...
