move building vertically without losing tags

I have a main project file with several linked building files.  The linked files are tagged and dimensioned in the main file. I need to move the linked building 6" vertically, but this causes all of the dimensions and tags in the main file to be deleted.  Is there a way to move the linked model vertically without losing tags and dimensions.

Untick Disjoint box on the Option Bar when you move it.
