Monitor Local Users Sync Times

Hi,

Is there a way to monitor when the local users in my project have last synced or how often they sync?  I can see that someone has synced, if they have synced in the current session, but it is impossible to tell when that was.

I'd like to make sure that all users are syncing regularly as part of our standard workflow.

Thanks

There is a workshare project history tool...

and here's a link with some info. This feels like it will get the list you need? Keep in mind that replacing the central model will wipe out the history.

Hi Jason,

Thanks for pointing that out.  I checked it but it will only give me the dates people have synced and not the times.  Should there be a timestamp as well as a date stamp?

Ideally, I would like a BIM manager window where I could see the details of what each of my project team members is working on but I think that is slightly outside of the scope of my question.

Odd, i am definitely getting the dates and times in my History list (ignore the VERY old dates - this is a test model)

This is from Revit 2016. I haven't tested in any other version, but would be surprised if it was drastically different. What release are you using?

As far as a BIM Manager dashboard (which would be super cool) there's nothing built-in. My first thought would be you would need to collect and parse through user machine's journal files and then collect that data in a database for viewing.

Hi Jason,

Sorry for not replying or accepting your solution.  I only see a date stamp in that screen.  It turns out our central server settings and IT setup has some quirks when it comes to the time and date settings and this prevents Revit from recording the time.  It also prevents some of our users using 360 Glue.

Thanks for trying anyway.
