Im currently trying to model a street from an existing plan. Im a Revit beginner so i dont know how to model it the smartest way. I tried to do it as a family. The problem is I have different slopes and different heights of the boundary walls. My plan was to make some kind of grid with all different heights i need and afterwards drafting the cross section of my street but the family manager is not really made for it. Are there any tools to modell a sloped street with two boundarie walls? I added a example picture of the street im trying to modell, there are more portions of the same kind, the walls are staying on the same height and the street is getting lower.
Im pretty frustraded since im beginner and i dont know how to approach this project in another way. I hope somebody can help.
Thanks in advance
Daniel

Revit is probably not the best software for this.
Unfortunately Revit is the only software i can use for this because of a specific Add On for formwork which is only available for Revit and AutoCAD. I could modell the body of the street with a different software and import it in Revit afterwards but I have no skills with other modelling programs. Which program would u recommend for modelling streets? Aditionally my company is workin on big shafts/manholes, towers and bridge abutments so basically very massive concrete buildings, so that should also be considered.
Use Railings.
Railings can follow the terrain so you can use a railing..have a look at the following screecast
