Modellin groove between landing and run while modelling stairs

Hello,

I have a question about stairs modelling that when we modell run and landing; either automatic connecting or self landing making. There is no groove in landing on which run is placed. For example in this picture which i attached, you can see the connecting point of landing and run. But when i model stairs with Revit, i cannot achieve it within my knowledge. Is it possible ? Any help in this regard is appreciable.

Why model it? Why not save off that LOD for CDs/ADs. Probably need to be 1:1 to make the "groove" out. I mean, even if you could model the stair/landing with the "groove", would it even be discernible in most Model Views? Two #1 Projection Lines positioned that close to each other is just going to display as one thick Projection Line.  Know what I mean?

He means over-enginering your model. These kind of small nitty gritty details tend to slow down revit. Its beter to just make a detail view and draw in the grove with a detail line.
