Modeling on Point Cloud

Hi,

Please can anyone guide about how we can model on point cloud in Revit? i-e any type of script ? how we can modeled perfectly on levels etc, any kind of example would be helpful!

Hi @FarhanUddinShaikh!!!

 

A third party software named "EdgeWise" is there to capture the elements on point cloud in some clicks.

 

Else u can do thinks on Revit itself, as fallowes

  • Get a Revit template / prepare yourself a template comprises coordination, true north and other thinks.
  • Load your point cloud file into it, check it sits correctly.
  • Take a section across your pontcloud and create the required levels/ modify existing as you required.
  • Start modeling, draw walls and other thinks over the pointcloud.
  • check the elements matching by taking sections / elevations, and 3D section box view.
