Modeling a Gasometer

Hello, I'm trying to model a building called Gasometer. The building consists of a steel structure as in the photo. I want to model it even if it's not that detailed. I created a cylindrical mass and added a grid as I wanted it. But I can't add mullion on it. How can I model this building? I would be glad if you help.

It is not complicated. Why don't you model the way it shows in the image it using steel columns, beams, joists ... Model one unit and array it

If you are not looking for that much detail, what wrong with with the Divided Surface approach you are using.  Looks like a Triangle Bent Pattern, so open a Pattern-Based Curtain Panel Family Template, change its Pattern to Triangle (bent) and model a simple profile to extrude along the Ref. Planes.  Then load it into you Project and apply it to your Divided Surface.  Bada Bing .

Nothing wrong with a divided surface with a pattern based profile but with such a simple structure modeling it as it should be modeled takes just about the same time and the end result would look...hmmm just how a steel structure should look like in not more than a few minutes

Place the columnsPlace the columns

Drop the beams and, cope them and add base platesDrop the beams and, cope them and add base plates

Add bracing, split and ad connectionsAdd bracing, split and ad connections
