Model showing up on electrical plan instead of annotation

Usually when I place a lighting fixture family into Revit, it will show up in 3D but only the annotation symbol will show up on my electrical plan. I downloaded a new lighting fixture family but for some reason the model is showing up in my electrical plan instead of the annotation. Any ideas? Thanks!

Then Nest the Family you have into a Wall-Hosted Template and insert the Annotation Symbol into that Wall-Hosted Version.
