When opening an existing Revit 2016 model, receive prompt "Your model needs to be upgraded from Autodesk Revit 2009 or earlier to Autodesk Revit 2016. How would you like to proceed?". There are 2 options, Upgrade the model or cancel the upgrade. Either option will result in message that the document failed to open.

But is happening with more files now. Open the file in the morning, make changes and save, OK. Open later and the message appears.
This sounds like a known issue that has been reported to our Revit development team.
I think it's just a bogus message that can be ignored (though annoying). It let's you continue, correct?

Same issue here. Every file that I open or family that I import that wasn't created in Revit 2017 gives me the message "Your model need to be upgraded from Autodesk Revit XXXX to Autodesk Revit 2017. How would you like to proceed". It's unrelenting. I would like to find a way to disable it. Any suggestions?
