Model in place tool constraint

Hello!

I have a problem while export a Revit model to IFC. Our customer would like to use the model for Facility Management, and they need a specified IFC export from Revit. We had to create several elements with model in place tool, and when I review the IFC export with a BIM viewing software, the constraint of these elements are randomised. But for the client, every elements need to be adjusted to their proper levels. In Revit we have several levels for several buildings, and it seems these model in place elements constraint to the nearest one (Im not sure), and I can not change their levels (except MIP floor elements).

Is there any solution to change the constraint of a Model in place element? Maybe with an addon?

Thank You!

You can edit the model in place, add an Invisible element right at the level where you want to "host" the model.  Now the model in-place should always be nearest to said level.

Thank you for your help. I tried it, but if I add an invisible element to the model in place, do not cause any other result as before. Also, if I have an element (exterior wall) which goes through in two (or more) planes, then I can not constrait it to an upper level... So I need to choose somehow which level should be the right one for any model in place element.
