Model In Place Door Room Data

hello legends,

i have some standard doors in the schedule that follow the room data properly. but i also have a model in place door due to its shape which is visible in the schedule but i cant get the room data on it. is there a way around? 

edit: or maybe there is a way to get rid of that stupid door and do something proper? it's an aacordion door which the footprint changes all the time and i can not create a family for it each time so i decided to do a model in place.

If you want to tag the in-place without destroying the door, I would create a door family with no host. 

Placed the dummy door at the in-place family and you will be able to schedule the door.

You can use an oversized door family without opening, place it normal, and use a solid mass to trim it to the shape you want, then edit profile the wall to make the opening.

No.  Create an in place solid mass in the project to cut the door family to the shape you want.

i found another way, separated the pocket door and the curtain door as two different families and now they follow their own proper parameters and room data, curtain door length is text based on a shared parameter... instead of editing the model in place, we edit the mass in the family.
