Hi all,
I am trying to find the way how to model an Air Shower for clean room, which has:
- a door;
- a "tunnel" (1000mm long);
- a door.
How can I put 2 doors in a family with a 1000mm ofset?
(The taken screenshot shows a family (with 1 door and a tunnel), This family is imprted into the Project. Second wall is added to form an Air Shower. Then it is all grouped together. The problem starts when I want to copy (and rotate) this group to another wall...

Why can't you just put two doors on two system family walls (offset from each other by 1000mm) in the project environment? Too easy?

Thank you for your reply. The example you made looks really nice, and I was able to do the same. However - as soon as I move from presentation example to my Project model, problems arise:
I can copy the group to another free place, but I get the warning "Insert conflicts with joined Wall.". The group gets copied, but one door remains highlighted (see attachment1).
The same warning for copying in y direction (see attachement2).
When I try to copy the group to some other wall - I get the warning "Insert conflicts with joined Wall." and nothing gets copied (there is no attachment as nothing is visible).
When I try to "Create similar", I get the warning "Highlighted walls overlap. One of them may be ignored when Revit finds room boundaries. Use Cut Geometry to embed one wall within the other, or tab-select one of the grouped overlapping walls and exclude it from the group instance."
I can ungroup and delete the example wall I created, but the door is deleted along. I can delete the wall that was there in the first place, ungroup "Air Shower", adopt the wall's length to be the same as the deleted wall, adjust the height, replicate the other things that was deleted with the original wall, recreate the rooms...
But - can we call this a solution? Did you try to put your air shower to some existing wall? What was your procedure?

Why don't you just find and use a Revit Air Shower Family (rfa)? Here's what I found in seconds using Google:

...FWIW: one more for you. This is a Face Hosted Family. When placing an instance of a Face Hosted Family, note the Placement Options on the Ribbon.
For example, choose "Place on Vertical Face" when placing on a Wall in Plan View:
That warning is because the door family, overall, is slightly wider than the available space between the perpendicular walls. That means the door is sticking into the side walls enough that Revit thinks it should warn you it isn't likely to work in real life.
That's easily resolved by increasing the width slightly or modifying the door family so there is a more accurate representation for the frame/trim that your door design might really use.

I tried to prolong the wall, but the warning remains:
I am relatively new to Revit, and I wanted to practice families...
I tried mentioned Air Shower, but I needed to adjust the dimensions. Although it's modeled in inch, I entered (for example) 1000mm, and it converted automatically, but the model didn't turn out as expected - openings are wrong:
I have a lot of work these days, so I don't have time to experiment - I'll try to figure it out during the weekend...

I'd have to see the door family to figure out what's up with it. I speculate that it has some forms in it that might not be obvious in the plan orientation and they extend wider than we'd expect, generating the warning.

- Draw walls with Disallow Join (or if you already drew them, right click at each wall end and Disallow Join for all 4 walls)
- Place doors
- Use Join geometry to Join the wall manually
Like Steve said, it could be the door family is "inside" the wall and Revit detects it as conflict. Just try to extend the interior of wall to (green) line and see if the warning pertains.
Yes, you are right. As soon as I enlarged the distance between the walls (without doors) - there was no warning anymore.

Yes, that was the reason for warnings.
So after all - your solution was applicable, I had other issues that gave me warnings. It needed a few additional steps, but it is applicable.
As for "Web-available" family:
I tried to experiment a bit with this family to adopt it to my needs. I can enlarge the door, but there is some part of the family (above the door) that stays lower, so I gave up. Additionally - the conceptual design is different - this family has much bigger region above the door (the stubborn one that won't shrink) then needed one AS-1P1S (https://www.biobase.cc/Air-Shower-pd47186305.html).
So - even if the stubborn part would change its height following the door - I suppose it would be too thick anyway (having in mind all that small rectangular shapes on the right above the door)...
As for others who might have the similar issue, a quick (?) workflow, what I ended up doing:
- make 4 walls at appropriate distance;
- make the ceiling;
- add 2 doors (if the room is too tight, follow @ToanDN's instructions and disallow join);
- make group of all elements;
move the "insertion point" of a group to the "front" of the wall;
- rotate the group if needed;
- "create similar" and select the wall to insert the group - "Highlighted walls overlap. One of them may be ignored when Revit finds room boundaries. Use Cut Geometry to embed one wall within the other, or tab-select one of the grouped overlapping walls and exclude it from the group instance." warning arise.
- ungroup (if I don't ungroup, a funny thing happens)
- use Modify/Cut Geometry (as the warning implies) and select the smaller wall from the (ungrouped) group then the wall the group is put on - this removes the "double" wall, yet the door stays on the new wall.
Group is available for additional use from the Project Browser.
