Any idea what would cause this? There are no shadows below the finished floor of the house which is set at 0'-0". The topography is a linked file, but so is the guest house in the background. I've revealed hidden objects to see if there is something set to transparent or something odd like that with no luck. I'm stumped. The guest house is casting shadows fine, but the entire grade and building are above the main house finished floor, it only appears to be happening below 0'-0".

Worked Like a charm, thank you! You're like a walking Revit Encyclopedia.

What? I thought the issue was that shadows were NOT casting.
He already has the actual topo to cast the shadow. That box is only needed when there is no 3d ground surface, so that the shadow will cast on the Level plane.
p/s And thanks for posting the screenshot so that I needed not to explain how to get there.
Lol, and there's the other walking Revit Encyclopedia. Do you guys compete? Probably 90% of my problems have been solved by one of you two.

Did you notice this Forum has a "Leaderboard"?
BTW: I'm the unabridged version of the Encyclopedia. @ToanDN is the abridged version. ![]()
I have never noticed the leader board, I'll go find it now though. Lol

It is right here on the right of the forum screen.
So it is....
. In my defense, I was on my phone when I posted earlier so it didn't show up like it does on the desktop version.
