what version of revit do you have, i'll check mine. thanks
When you browse for properties did you able to see different types of trees?
it could be used the wrong template, try to open a new file and see if there are trees. this file you started from scratch or from someone else. thanks
just checked from my revit 2020 version and no issues at all. thanks
try to update your graphics card driver to the latest and uncheck your use hardware acceleration from options and see if helps. thanks
ill do that after the reinstall.
but i doubt if its a display problem. i think its more of a content problem.
i wonder if we can manually copy folders from another PC?
yes, you can try. but not the whole folder/programs content. you start to copy first the templates and libraries or for those folder just rename old and copy a new one. for me this not good approach but no harm in trying. thanks
…. hi @mark.tio
… some steps ...
… do you have an archvision license ? … are you in a trial mode ?
… do you have more RPCs that the ones provided by REVIT ?
... or just a regular REVIT user ..
… depending on your answers … there will be some options
… uninstall the RPC dashboard with an uninstall software
… to delete all traces
… ** if you have an archvision license do this
… reinstall the archvision dashboard manager from:
… don’t use firewall
… you can download all of the RPC collections that you want / need
… and you will be able to use them depending on your monthly or yearly plan
… either way … archvision automatically is creating
…. c:/rpc folder
…..if you don't have the RPCs folder... create one and copy-paste all content
… do you have your own library?
…. from a previous pc?
…. *** if so… then you need to move your entire own library to:
…. C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Autodesk Shared\Materials\2020\assetlibrary_base.fbm\RPCs
… in the dashboard go and add the second, third rendering path ... to find these paths
… or if you don’t have an archivsion plan … just the regular RPCs from REVIT
… and they are not there
… you most probably need to reinstall the entire REVIT program
… but try to not block internet while installing it
… for this option … you don’t need to install the dashboard
... but you will need to have these paths
…. c:/rpc folder
…. C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Autodesk Shared\Materials\2020\assetlibrary_base.fbm\RPCs
… restart the pc
