Hello I am working on a curtain wall surface that is leaning in different directions. I have created a costume pattern of mullions and divided the surface. I have even added a reference plane for all edges of each facet. I don't get every node for the boundary panels. The edge panels are set to partial. I have tried to add reference points for missing ones but I get an error when trying to place the adaptive family. I cannot use a generic pattern as the design is specific. Any chance I can add nodes myself? I tried orienting reference points differently but still get the same error when placing the adaptive panel. I have attached the edge i'm working on and the error I get. As you can see some edges do have nodes and I can place the adaptive family. Any help is appreciated.
Draw reference planes around the boundary as well so that they can intersect with division reference planes when you divide the surface using intersecting planes.
I have drawn reference planes around the edges same as I have for the verticals and horizontals. Sometimes I get a node on the edge sometimes I don't! No idea why..
I will shortly. It is large file I am going to export two facets with the issue edges..
Unfortunately I can't share just faces of the model.. I also can't the entire form due to confidentiality issues. This seems to be a common issue throughout the Revit world. Any other solutions you could think of?
