Hi to all, I'm struggling to get some features to provide geographic data into Revit. I saw settings windows in several tutorials but I didn't manage to find how to get them on my Revit.
In my case, I'm missing the section Projected Coordinate System Reference, how can i get that in order to set the datum and the epsg code?
Moreover, I'd like to find a good tutorial to understand how to export in IFC the values of survey and project base point. Is it possible? I'm getting drunk with all the misconceptions about coordinate systems in Revit
it's an abysmal pain
Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me.
Which version you are using? I think it's version specific. For instance, Revit 2019 does not have those options but Revit 2022 does.
You must be exporting to IFC4 in order to enter an ESPG code. In older versions of Revit, this section will not display if not using IFC4. In 2024 there is a tab called "Geographic Reference" that is always displayed, but you still can only enter an ESPG code for IFC4 exports.

Thank you for your response, in fact, I'm using Revit 2023 and when i downloaded the extension ifc v23.3.0 i can see the tab called geographic reference so this information is no longer in general tab under the section "projected coordinate system reference"is it correct ?
