Missing generic templates Revit 2020

so i downloaded revit 2020 through student verification. after i downloaded i noticed the libraries families and templates were missing, so i downloaded them form the content page of revit 2020. but the generic templates (architectural template-construction template- mechanical template and structural templates) are still missing.

how do i download them/find them in my pc in the case that they are there i just dont have the file location correct.

thats the page i used to download the libraries and templates, but it seems they dont include the generic ones in there.

i already tried those solutions except the clean unistall and reinstall revit. 

is it viable that a class mate that does have the generic templates sends copies them from their pc and sends them to me via email?

Did you double click into the folder and find the file? So far your screenshot stop short and didn't see what is inside those folders.

I am not following. Are you look for family template? Those default project template are the same what I have when I install from the link.

sorry if im confusing you, im new in revit hah. 

i am looking for the templates you choose from when creating a new project. the generic ones such as architectural template i dont have.

Typically I would install US Imperial template. It will give you the default Architectural.

i will try it but why does it not work with the metric template? 

also i tried dowloading them again in metric and i got the same ones.

Revit Template can swap from Metric to imperial or vice versa. You can switch it using shortcut 'UN'. The only difference is the family built into those template. Imperial will have imperial size while metric will have metric size. Both can be used for either unit.

im not sure why im missing those files. 

here ill show you what my teacher sees. im so confused to why i dont get the same files. im afraid to use a diferent template 

i think i might need to re install :C

You could have done this. It's a perfectly viable solution. Just make sure to file them in the default location.
