I am working on a student project in which I am to update an existing space. The issue is that the existing file is missing the Elevation system family. The section view system family still exists, but it would be helpful to separate the two types of view cuts.
Is there a way to create or import a new elevation system family to resolve this?
You could try opening a new empty project using a template, and then transfer the project standards into your project you are working on. Not sure if this will work, but worth a try.
