I would like to mirror slope annotations in order to have them equally placed on the plan. I did this and noticed that it took some effort (more than copying a text element).
If I mirror this slope over the ridge, is Revit modifying the actual roof plan? Or is it reading the current slope and putting the correct slope annotation in the mirrored place?

So, you are wondering if the mirrored slope arrow is referencing the correct roof? Yes, it is. That's the beauty of this BIM software. But if you are skeptical, test for yourself. Mirror roof, mirror slope arrow and then select roof copy and change its slope. Slope Arrow updates, right?

Mirrored spot slope is reading the slope of the new surface.
