Min and max length

A lot of posts on this subject, but I can't get it working.

I have a family with a param length.

Now I want to give it a min and max value, but I quite don't understand the steps in Revit to do this....

The formula I found in posts is clear, but I don't know how to make the e.g. max_length contraint in Revit.

Can someone explain in short steps how to do this?

Thanks in advance!

something like this?

LengthCtrl.jpgLengthCtrl2.jpgLengthCtrl3.jpg

Or, you could do it like this, where the user types in the Max and Min Length, as well as the Length:

I have 1 question left: I made the max-length a param measurement with a formula, that works great!

How can I give the value of the length input? I can change it in the family input, but not in a project.

The box length doesn't appear in the type properties when loaded in a project?

Only thing is that the thickness and length are not visible in schedule lists.

Is that because of the type of param (must it be an instance or something)?
