Middle button configuration

Hi,

I'm actually having a configuration problem on my mouse by using Revit 2017 and Autocad 2017.

One week ago when I was clicking on the middle button the action on Revit was a "PAN ZOOM" (showing the entire view)

Now when I click on the middle button I always have this "PAN ZOOM" action, but when I click longer on the button I also have a "ZOOM +" action.

Does anybody have the same problem ?

Is it possible to delete this "ZOOM +" action and to keep the "PAN ZOOM" for the middle button ?

Because when I use this button I it often activate the 2 actions and I always have to Zoom - after that ...

Thanks in advance,

(Sorry for my French-glish)

What is the brand/model of your mouse?

Hi ToanDN,

My mouse is a Logitech M505,

And I'm actually working with Win 7.

Do you think that it can be a driver problem ?

(Thanks Patrick,

I will think at the French section for the next post)

M505 mouse's wheel has several functions: scroll up/down (Zoom In/Out), tilt left/right, and click (middle button).  It is very easy for you to activate the scroll or tilt motions when you press the wheel down to PAN in Revit.  I have another Logitech model and I have to set another button to be the middle button.  Unfortunately, a M505 does not have the extra button that my mouse does, so you may want to open the Logitech mouse software and deactivate the Tilt functions.  You can change it either universally for the mouse, or add Revit.exe under Advanced settings and change it only for this program.

Hi @Anonymous

The function of the middle mouse can vary by software application.

Click the Revit symbol in the top left corner. then go to steering wheel and uncheck zoom increment.

If you recently adjusted your dual monitor properties, there is a chance that the setting overrides mouse settings.

Thanks for your answers !

The solution for my problem was to uninstall and reinstall the Logitech driver and software.
