Metric profile family: not visible reference planes

Hello everyone,

I hope that you can help me with this strange case.

I am editing the family of a vertical steel stud. The family itself contains 2 overlapped sweeps and I assume that it's like this because of the visibility of the geometry from a detail level to another.

The parameters of the family are all locked.

Now, I would like to edit the the geometry of the metric profiles of the sweeps but something stange is happening: one of the profiles has all the reference planes visible, in the other one I can't see any reference panes, but the parameters are working.

Moreover, if I create new reference planes, I can't see them. I've tried to act on the visibility/graphics overrides but apparently the issue it's not there.

I will post pictures of the families because I assume that my description is not very clear.

Thank you in advance!

R

Hi,

Are you sure, you have checked Reference Planes under VG?

Check properties under Object styles, maybe color is white and it isn't visible on white background.

If under these settings is OK, just share the file to check.

You're right. It was because of that. The strange Thing is that everything was checked as visible. when I unchecked just to try, Elements became visible!

Strange, but at least I solved the mistery!

Thank you :leicht_lächelndes_Gesicht:
