Hi,

I do not know why but in my current project file that I am working on I cannot change the pattern of brick and tint. It works in new file that I created separately.  I am trying to simply change Brick Common to another brick pattern and tint. Is my file corrupt? What am I doing wrong? Attached is the file. I looked into phasing but that does not seem to be the issue.

DEJA VU! Or...expecting different results by doing the same thing over and over again?

@Anonymous, you, yourself, already determined yesterday that this issue was only happening with this ONE project file. You, yourself, said that you couldn't replicate the issue in a new project. And since none of us, including Toan, could replicate the issue either, using YOUR problem file, I would logically suspect that the issue you are having with this ONE file is due to a "loose nut behind the keyboard".

If you have to use this ONE file; copy it's elements into a new project template. Problem solved! "Genius" if I do say so myself. HA!

sorry about this my previous message got re-posted for some reason. i am still trying to figure out how to use this forum. thanks to toan's advice i did end up solving the problem a few days ago. however, your last message sounds a bit rude and condescending. "loose nut behind the keyboard" is not a very nice thing to say to someone who is seeking help in this forum. pls watch your netiquette. thank you.

Mariya, you're quite right...I can see how you could take my remark as being rude, rather than jovial - which is how I intended it. I apologize.

Welcome to the forum!

Cheers!

Barth

p.s. "Loose nut behind the keyboard" is a funny and commonly used retort -- always delivered with tongue in cheek. And, believe me, I've been that "loose nut" many a times.
