We have a project with some custom materials I made in photoshop. I keep the textures in a folder on our dropbox. Everything works great on my computer but when another user tries to open the project Revit loses the texture path even though I pointed to the folder as a render appearance path. Any ideas? Thx
Is there an error seen by the user of the other computer? Is all the geometry grayed out?
Where are the image files that the materials are based on stored? It sounds as though the material library is stored in the Dropbox, and the image files that it depends upon are still stored on your machine. The image files should always be in the same location as the library.
No thats not quite the issue. I'm not 100% sure where his materials library is installed although I'm pretty sure he would have just used the default install location... probably somewhere local on his computer. These new texture .jpgs are on the dropbox he has access to.
