1. Go into your material browser

2. Click on the wood material you are using

3. Click on the Appearance tab for your wood material

4. Click on the image

5. A pop out window called "Texture Editor" will appear, under "Scale" you can adjust the size of the sample.

6. Increase the size of the sample accordingly

While doing the above you need to watch out for the following

  • When you modify the image scale, you need to also modify the Bump or Relief patterns if they are using a custom image
  • Do not overly scale up the image because it will effect the image quality and the resolution
  • Uncheck the Lock Aspect Ration if you wish to only change the width of the panel/tile
  • The scaling is done proportional (c*b/a).
  • n the image is a 12x2 pattern of staggert panels in a 684mmx684mm module =>
    1. Panel width 684/12 = 57mm
    2. Panel Height 684/2 = 342mm
  • if you aim to make the panel slightly bigger ex:  80mm x 480mm  simply changing the 684 to 960 would work without major effect on the image quality
  • If increasing it means doubling the above value it would be recomeneded that you download another image with the right aspect ration instead of scaling this one

         There is BING AI Texture generator which you can try. There are also websites similar to the below where you can download High/Medium res images from

         Architextures, the material editor for architects and designers - Architextures
