So, I was only trying to change the material for the mullions for the window when I did, it changed the material of the wall (beams) I did here, it changed it to the material of the mullions and I did not want that, why does it do that. Happens to me too many times, but if I want to transfer this to Lumion then it will all be the same as in Revit, I need the wall (beams) to be as dark wood and not the white paint as the mullions.
This little hand indicates the number of Materials that Share the Asset.
If it's Shared (e.g. the number next to the little hand shows 1 or more), then any changes to the Asset will affect all those other Materials.
But how do you do the NON-SHARED Asset in there, and I also see there's no more than 1, so a little confused on that, this is new to me.
If it says "1" then there's another Material using the same Asset. Replace the Asset with another "Generic" Asset from the Asset Browser. Or Duplicate the Material.
or...
BTW: I misspoke before. Replace the Asset with whatever Asset you want. Doesn't have to be "Generic".
