material takeoff

I have a wall that is 3.35 mt. long having a height of 3.20 mt.

So, when I take material takeoff it's coming to 10.76 m2 but when I calculate it by calculator it's coming to 10.72. So, this slight difference in decimals is acceptable, if not then what should I do to fix this?

Hi,

There can be several reasons for this, can you share a part of your model with this schedule and walls?

The usual culprit is wall joining with adjacent walls. The wall length will be affected by the walls it is joined to and what kind of join is applied.

Hi,

I've checked your model and the area is correct. The wall is 3.2052 * 3.3576 = 10.762.
So your wall is not 3.2 * 3.35 exactly.
