Material Tags in linked elements with Custom VGO

Finding that in what regards tagging elements from linked models with Custom VGO settings, one needs to ensure the matching Category is made visible in both the host model and the overriden linked one.

Such realization occurred when in a project the linked model with Custom VGO settings had the Generic Model category visible but it was set to not visible in the main VGO settings. In spite of one being capable of TAB+Selecting the Generic Model element in the linked model the Material Tag could not read from its properties.

Hello. I think I am having a similar problem and I can't find the root.
I created the rooms and the rooms tags on my floor plan (and I can see them without any problem) then I created a section and I activated to see the room tags but I can see just some of them, even though I see the room are there.
I already check hidden elements, delete and create new room, review the room schedule, GVO.

Any help?

Check if some of your rooms were created in a different work set that isn't showing in that view.
