Material references

Is it possible to figure out what families/types/elements are using a specific material? I have some duplicates and i cant figure out they are being used for and they don't show up in purge unused

You could do a material take-off schedule and filter by the specific material you're looking for?

EDIT: You can add the Family / Family Type as a field within the schedule to list the family.

However - if family types aren't placed in the model, these won't be in the schedule unfortunately.
