Material of imported SAT file?

Hello,

I am importing a SAT file to Revit (Insert->Import CAD) as 'Generic Models' category.

How can I define the Material of this imported SAT Generic Model?

Any help is welcomed.

Create Parts from the in place model and override Parts materials.

Thank you for the screenshots @ToanDN ,
On my Revit, the first picture looks the same: "Create Parts" icon is grayed-out. How do I active it?

Can you share the SAT file?

No issues here.  Maybe you already created parts, just change view to show parts.

I closed Revit, opend a new 'Architectural Template'. Imported SAT, and "Create Parts" is still grayed-out. I don't know what am I doing wrong.

You are on 2019.  This method doesn't work in 2019.  It works in 2022, not sure about 2020 or 2021.

For 2019, load SAT in a family, paint surfaces with materials or material parameters, then load it in project and you can change their materials.

Ah, so this is the problem.
@ToanDNwould it be possible to assign a single material to all objects inside the imported SAT Generic model?
Or it is absolutely impossible to assign any material to imported SAT Generic model on Revit 2019. Not even possible through Revit API?

Yes.  See edited post.

Also, if your SAT is too complex to paint, then consider using DWG instead of SAT so that you can assign materials to layers via Objects Styles > Import categories.
