Greetings:
Wall layers are not displaying as set in the material browser Appearance tab.
The wall edges are blue instead.
View is default 3D, Fine, and Realistic.
No graphic overrides in the view.
No phase filter.
No design options in use.
This isn't a big deal but it is annoying. I keep thinking the wall is selected when it isn't.

Almost sounds like an Analytical Representation?
...are you actually cutting the wall?
It's displaying correctly then. That is, the view won't show the wall layers unless you cut the wall or make it into parts.
Hi @Anonymous
Can you share a screencast?

@Anonymous: Are you by chance wondering where that color is coming from? DEFAULT.
That's right. You live in the Bay Area. I forgot. ![]()
...interesting tidbit: Did you know that the Pink Flamingos at the San Francisco Zoo only have 1-1/2 wings - not 2. True story. The zoo purposely maimed the birds so they can't fly away.

Hi @Anonymous
Which version of Revit are you using? Can you check if you have installed the updates?
Can you also share a screencast of what you are experiencing? The community can help you better then.
Looking forward to hearing from you!

I didn't know this, however it is not working for me?
Are there other materials like this that controls basic things?
I know the Poche material controls the color of the cuts in 3d.
Ok, in my case I had to change the material called Default Wall, not Default

Because your file has Default Wall as the material for Walls category under Object Styles. If a wall type has no materials assigned to its assembly then it will use the Object Styles definition.
