I'm making a mass from the component in place mass. Once I created the mass, i'm adding voids to it but when I sketch them- I don't actually see the lines ( I have DL lines that I previously made so i know where they need to be).

Once the void has been done and the mass closed, is there a way to edit the void shape just like a solid shape? dragging edges? especially when i can't see the lines i sketched before.

When you creating the mass outline, if the line is set at lower level and your plan set your view range at current level, the outline won't show up at your current plan. So to make it show, you have to set your view range to level below or you do all your massing in 3d mode.

Oops...i mis-read your post. Normally when you create outline, I would set your outline as reference line. That way when you create your massing, your outline is still there. If you don't do this, your line will disappear. This makes it harder to edit your massing especially with void form.

not sure I understand the issue. you made an in-place component with a void. once the component is finalized you cant see the void to edit? if your not seeing the hole/indentation made by the void than the void likely isn't cutting anything.

once the void is made you should be able to see the outline it has cut. when the component is selected you should be grip arrows to adjust it.
