I have created an in place mass and then created form - solid form.

For some reason, I can see through mass objects in front of others and it seems it has no solid geometry as per the images attached.

I would need help on this thank you.

Before You actually attempt to "cut", you need to apply a Roof by face to it.

See attached.

Jalal, that mass is an existing part of a building and preferably my aim is not to define it or use roof by face.

Is there a way without turning that mass into a roof etc to actually see intersections between that mass and other elements like a solid geometry?

Thanks

They were extruded using a void. Select it and change to Solid in the Properties dialog

PS: I wouldn't model it using In Place Mass...Better to go for in Place Component and use Roof Category. Moreover tools in IP Component provide wider range of options ...

Select the geometry then in the element properties change void to solid.

See below snap.

Great. Now just apply a "roof by face" and then cut or join.
