Mapping Curved Surfaces?

Hi guys! It's me again, I'm doing an architectural restoration project for my master thesis with Revit and currently, I'm struggling with the deterioration analysis.

The come out should be something like this, where every color is a surface pathology. Where I have a vertical wall I don't have many problems, I can create a thin wall, add all the parameters I want and then modify the profile.

The problems come when I have curved walls (like vaults or deformed walls) that I previously created with a mass and Wall by Face.

My idea was creating another thin wall from the same mass, then use the command Create Parts and Divide Parts by sketching. Then to eliminate the rest I used Exclude parts. And this is the result.

But when I open a section these borders disappear and I see the whole pink wall.

Does anyone know how to prevent that?

or do you know a better way to do what I need to do? Someone suggested to use adaptive models but it seemed kinda difficult.

Thank you!

update:

I noticed that in the other direction works, but in the one that I showed you before doesn't.

If I try to recreate the same section now it works, does anybody knows what's happening?

Each view has its own visibility settings for parts. Maybe Parts is set Show Original instead if Show Parts in your section view?

Where can I find that list?

and how can I differentiate these "walls" from the regular ones so that I can see them just in certain views?

Thank you

Sounds like you need to set up a filter for your view. Here's how to do it:

Is it possible to not see them by default and to activate them just in a few views? In the panel visibility I saw that there are the categories, can I change slightly the category from wall to, I don't know wall - degradation so that I can switch it off?

or it doesn't make sense?
