Mapped Network Drives or UNC Paths?

Our office got a new server this week and now all of our Revit Central Files are 'broken'.  This Autodesk article explains ways of moving Revit files to a new server based on how they access the server:

How do I determine which method we are using?

@Anonymous you are probably going to have to do both. You will have to rename the old server name, give the old name to the new server and map all the drives to the same drive letter as before. Otherwise if that isnt possible, you will have to detach the old models from central and resave them to the new location (including the links) to re-establish the file paths. This isnt a bad thing to do, as you now have the opportunity to audit and cleanup your files before starting on the new server 🙂 However, if time is the issue, then you will have to map it to the original UNC path names on the new server.
