Hi!
I have a family based on wall (its a shower), where both central elements have a visibility check. Then i made 2 families types, 1 with all elements visibles and 1 with the central faucet not visible.
But when i change from one type to the other, the height also changes:
Thats happening because its a wall based family? i tried with a generic model not based and didnt have that problem.
Is there a height parameter? Edit type and check it. Or check offset from level parameter.
No, theres not a height parameter.
Im attaching the rfa in case anyone wants to see.
The Height Property is the built-In Offset From Level Parameter (or whatever it's called). You'll have access to the Parameter on Placement in the Project.
...Elevation from Level is what it is called.
You can associate this Parameter to a Host Family Parameter if you want to nest it into another Family and drive its offset through the Host.
Hello there,
I found that your "Comando sin Canilla" component is not ticking the box of Canila Pies options as shown in "Comando con Canilla" below:
Thus, you can tick the listbox so that the component will show the same model as below:

Hi, i tried setting parameters for elevation from level, but its the same result, everytime i change from 1 type to the other, it changes the height. Did you try it? maybe i did something wrong
Hi, the types are correct, 1 with faucet and 1 without, the "problem" is the height that changes depending on the visibility of the family's objects.
Its like if you "hide" an element of a family, that familty assumes another "elevation from level" height in project.
