Making mass element invisible

I am  trying to make mass invisible but after applying transperent material also  edges are visible

Why not use visibility/graphics overrrides and hide the mass category. Or if you need to show other masses, select the mass, right click and select Hide in view > Elements

Please mention Revit version, especially when uploading Revit files.

Select the Mass in the View, right-click and press Override Graphics in View: By Element in the right-click conceptual menu.  See override options including Transparency.   If you just want it hidden it entirely in the View, then press Hide in View: By Element in the right-click contextual menu.
