Making geodesic dome

I'm trying to create a geodesic dome roof, perhaps 3v but need help.

Unfortunately I do not understand how he coded and created it, so I ask if any of you can help explain or share a file that can be used?

My goodness! How did we model before Dynamo, then? Why do you need a Dynamo script to model a dome?

I don't necessarily need dynamo but that man's video shows a great example for creating various types of geodesic domes.

I did follow this tutorial video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m6VCOK0Op0k&ab_channel=NSL-101

Which helped to a certain extent, but I'm trying to model a dome, not a sphere.

So now I'm stuck trying to figure out how to model a 4v or 5v geodesic dome properly.

I don't know dynamo, but would love to learn the example as shown in the original link I posted.
I tried copying the his code into Dynamo 23 but it wasn't producing the geometry, only dots appeared.
