Hello,
I am relatively new at Revit and would like to figure out a way to create this type of schedule for wall types. I've played around the parameters in the schedule however I cannot get to this level of information with the titles, columns and rows. I'm tempted to just link in an excel file already. If someone could refer me to a video that can explain step by step the above schedule it would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
D
Yes you can. Create Shared Parameters, add to the Project, associate them to Walls. Make sure that they are Text parameters. If this is something that is consistent for a particular wall type, then it will be a type parameter, if it is different for different instances of the wall, then it will be an instance parameter. When you have created an instance of the wall, look at its Properties - the parameters will show up there. You will be able to manually enter the information for the parameters and they will appear accordingly in the schedule.

Unless you are trying to tag the wall with the information, there is no need for Shared parameters, 'normal' project parameters assigned to Walls category will do.

Are you talking about the formatting (e.g. adding cells, merging cells, resizing cells, adding text into cells)?
