I have Revit LT. I often get full, complete revit sets from architects to use but I only need to keep and maintain certain aspects. My copy is not shared to their central model and is a completely stand-alone copy. All I do is PDF my sheet set and submit it back to them.
With the sets I am getting I would like to be able to delete all of their sheets, 3D views, etc. and essentially just start fresh with their level 1, 2, 3, etc floorplans to create my own drawing set.
Any time I want to delete something, I get an error something like this "This action has caused deletion of non-editable Workset "View "3D View: 3D - Aaron"". The only option I have is to cancel.
Is there any way around this? I would rather have a simple, clean copy to start with as to reduce the size of these files on my computer and to make the whole set less complicated.
Of note, I have tried saving a renamed copy as well but this has the same issues.
Nope... You can have them strip everything on their end though and remove the worksharing prior to sending it to you.
