Edit a truss family and modify it or use standard beams, columns and steel connections then group or create an assembly out of them which you should be able to array

how to edit it ? any video...thx because i have tried to edit it but it cant.
My advice is load in OOTB Revit truss. Draw reference plane and give it name
Set to reference plane
Use Structural>Beam system and draw the outline
Once you finish, you should be able to achieve trust you wanted.

There is nothing much in Truss family...
Edit...add two reference planes from each each @ half panel from ends and align lock top chord to make it shorter as per your image
Here is an example...can't record longer GIF it wont upload

Like this...You place it at one end, change Bearing Chord to Top ... then array it!

That need to be adjusted base on the family. You can change the offset length. I am using the Structural Framing>Wood>M_TLJ Wood Open Web Joist.
Alternatively you could just draw it using structural framing ofcourse, or similarly to a truss draw it as model lines first and snap the framing to that if you like. Ofcourse depending on your needs, how many etc. Don't always find using truss as useful tbh, since you more often then not have to tweak it somewhat... but I guess that's just a preference thing.
Use coping, or cut by refplane, or steel connection (depending on situation)...
also i just can use structure beam but cannot use structure truss... also why there is a gap between roof and truss ?

It will not work if you jump between one reply from 1 forum member to another reply from another forum member (with all due respect to all of them). That is what generates CHAOS regardless if all the methods being suggested are right. So I would suggest that you UN-MARK all the solutions you have marked so far, Focus on one person, TAG that person when you reply using the @ ...solve the issue you are having and Accept that which has solved your issue as a solution!
Question 1 -
What should you do with the connections...There are a bunch of useful tools you can use under Steel Tab - Mitter/Cope/Cut through/Cut By. Additionally you can use Connections...
Additionally, you need to know the Structural Element (in this case Beams) join behavior depends on the Material Behavior defined in the beam Family - Wood/Concrete/Steel...
Question 2 -
The error - A truss family is a family which defines a system consisting of Top Chord, Bottom Chord and Web Elements, before you place the truss, you need to define those elements in order for Revit to replace the detail lines you have placed in the family with actual ELEMENTS ie: Beams Hence:
If you do not define the Turss's elements before you place it, there are high chances that Revit will not be able to place it if the Shape is eccentric

when placing Truss in 3D directly at the roof edge you use Line tool then place Start / End point... Watch the GIF i posted again and focus on the steps
