Make Squared-Off Line ends and Sharp Arrows for Dimensions

Is there a way of changing the way Revit handles the ends of lines? Currently, they are rounded as if drawn by a stylus. I want straight ends  of the lines - kind of the way the tick marks are displayed for dimensions. This also extends to the way dimension arrows are created. The point of the arrow is rounded based upon the light weight instead of it being a true sharp point.

Is there a setting or add-on for this?

Hi David, if I understand correctly you are referring to the fact that when Revit shows thick lines (matching the actual thickness you will see on paper) their ends are rounded. I'm going to assume that you are looking at the way they show on the screen because they should show correctly on paper. If it's a drafting preference, you can work in thin lines mode and you should see them the way you described. I don't think there is a way to change it otherwise, but I don't see the need to as you shouldn't be able to see the ends unless you zoom in Revit. In other words, the end-user won't see that. Did that help?
