lp - View Range and Ceilging plan

Hi,

Well I have Googled, trying to find out the answers to two questions:

after using Plan Views I created a Reflected Ceiling Plan (RCP) when go to the new Ceiling view, nothing can be seen! I've tried playing around with the View Range, I have also tried to understand VR (perhaps I need a tutorial for Dummies!)

Can someone (anyone) tell me what it is I am doing wrong?  I have attached the model, perhaps this helps!?

Thx

your reflected ceiling plan should be placed based on you Floor level. there is no need to make a RCP Plan level.

remake your Ceiling plan based on the Main level.

Get rid of the RCP level and create a new ceiling plan view based on main level, then turn on Underlay, orientation = look down, Base = main, Top = Top of curtain wall.  Turn on Underlay for the ceiling plan is for you to see elements below the view range such as pony walls, casework, fixture, furniture in order to coordinate with the ceiling, lighting, HVAC, etc...
