First things first...you need to edit the family and associate the height of the Louvers blades to an instance Height parameter in the Array family...then reload the Array family into the Curtain Panel and lock the Height to the top reference plane

Now your louvers are properly constrained to the Width and Height of the Curtain wall panels See GIFF below.

On to the Next: What angle???

There is an easier way to create curtain louvers without arrays, nested families and custom curtain panels

  1. Start wall tool
  2. Select a curtain wall type
  3. Edit Type and Duplicate (name: Horizontal or Vertical Louvers)
  4. If Vertical as per GIF below:
    • Set Vertical Louvers to a fixed/desired distance
    • Remove all Mullions except for the Vertical interior
    • Set Panel to: Empty System Panel (remember from your previous post?)
  5. Click Apply
  6. Place Place an instance temporarily  to save the type
  7. Go to your curtain wall...Tab select a panel
  8. Unpin it
  9. Replace with the Vertical Louver type you created above
  10. Hit escape and re-select the nested Louver Wall Panel and set Justification to Center

You cannot do that using the family you were working with...the angle in your image applies to the Grids (Virtical and Horizontal) not to the panel...you have 2 options

Option 1: Use a Mass surface ... divided to a pattern, rotate Grid >>> apply a Pattern based family to that

Option 2: Use a mass surface ... divide to a pattern, rotate grid >>> activate nodes >>> use an adaptive component

Option 3: Use the second method which I posted in my 2nd Reply using a curtain wall with Vertical + Horizontal mullions and an empty System Panel As below

If you want to get your panel to have angle mullion, you may have to use adaptive. See attached how to do it.

Just wanted to let you know that a loadable curtain panel family will not work if your curtain wall is not a rectangle.

An approach to this is using mullions for louver blades + empty system panel. This would work with any shapes.

Also if i want to change the depth and width of the profile in curtain wall profile . how to do that ? i mean i wanna have variety of the depth and width. i want to change it into 20 x200 or 40 x400 or 30 x 300.thx Untitled.png

If you have used the curtain mullions solutio , it would be similar to any normal curtain wall... create new mullion types by either duplicating the existing rectangular one in the project browser and giving each new dimensions or by creating new mullions from scratch. ...

Once you have the mullions, duplicate the Curtain wall type which you are using for louvers and use different mullions
