Hello everyone.
In my Main Family I have an Object. This Object is a genric model and its form is driven by the Family Type parameter.
There are two nested families in the Main Family. The Object can be either the 1st or the 2nd family of any of their types.
Both of those nested families have several instance parameters (Material parameters to be more precise) that are linked (associated) to the main family parameters. Hovever, upon changing the form of object from Family1 to Family2 and vice versa, one of those associations is lost.
This is how the properties window looks like when the Object is Family1
Then I turn its Family Type parameter to Family2 and to Family1 again. That's how the properties window looks now:
As you can see, the Sockel parameter lost its association. Is there any explanaition for this? I tried deleting and loading the nested families again but it did not work.
Note: I think the reason for that is the fact that the Family2, unlike Family1 does not posses the Sockel parameter buta different one, while all 3 others are shared.
both of nested families must have same kit of parameters. perfect way whem you make family 2 by redacting of family 1 (wich already works as you need)
so, check names, types etc. of your nested parametres.
