This screenshot is for my first vision, But I adjusted it. And forget how to back to that rendering style. 

what I get now. It looks like that.

It that a 3D View from Top or a Plan View? If Plan, go to 3D View.

Delete your {3D} View and recreate it by pressing the little house icon on the QAT. Orient new {3D} View to Top and Render the View.

in the rendering settings --- Sun Setting -- Presets

An easy way to replicate a View is to create a View Template from that View and apply it to another.  Bada bing.  

....BTW: your default {3D} View was corrupted on my end. I was thinking the corruption carried over from your end. I'm not even sure that is possible, but that's why I was suggesting to recreate the {3D} View.  Once I did on my end, it Rendered beautifully.
