Looking for feature/Plugin to load families more effitiently

Currently we have a locally saved RVT Masterfile of all our families. Which we open up and copy paste into active projects.

In an effort to streamline this workflow I'm trying to find a plugin that works similar to the "Load Autodesk Family" feature.

Something I can path to my local family directory, and when I click it shows a thumbnailed list of all my families organized by category etc..

anyone have any suggestions?

Hi @jordanDHM4B ,

You're looking for a content manager it seems : these are softwares that centralized families and display them with proper thumbnails, the families can be filtered and ordered, you can see the usage stats, the parameters values and types and so on. There are many existing solutions, I'm listing below several ones that I know of but there are more :

- Unifi (was bought last year by Autodesk)

If you are using the families in nearly every project, why not just have them pre-loaded into the template?

This was a consideration, As we work in Arch Viz we have a lot of 3D family's and variations, too many to have idle on each protect as it would really balloon our storage and backup systems. we found it best practice to use a container file that we can copy what is necessary across at will.
