I work in IT and for the life of me can't figure out why this is happening to only one PC.
All of her drives are mapped correctly, heck you can actually navigate to reload the file using the same path as the "Saved Path"
They were never moved from their spots, but her PC was reformatted a few weeks back.
I have tried unloading / removing /. then adding and that also doesn't work.
Her coworkers load just fine. I have even tried reloading using Server IP versus a mapped drive.
I am out of ideas. Any help would be welcomed.
Thank you.
The file path seems excessively long. Can you try a shorter path for her and see if it will work? I understand it works for others but we had the same issues on some of our computers, not all, and shortening the path fixed it.
I mean I hear you and I think moving it will also work for other reasons.
For example temp file paths, even if they look the same they aren't and I don't know how to clear that from a project.
But honestly, length is not the issue at all. It used to work for her and it currently works for two other people.
I am looking for a solution / reason for this issue versus just guess work that doesn't make sense like file path length.
Hi @Anonymous
Welcome to the Autodesk community! thanks for posting on our forum.![]()
It seems like the issue stems from the PC format and the working directory has been cleaned, accidentally moved, or renamed, paths can become broken.
