Linking views

I'm trying to create a sheet of views (elevations and plans) of kitchens and bathrooms in apartment units. Within my building model, are linked kitchen and bathroom layouts. I've tried creating the views in each individual linked model, and then I display them in the visibility settings within the building model as "By Linked View", but they still don't show up. Am I missing something? Or should I be looking somewhere else for these linked views?

Thanks!

so you have made Sections/Elevations in a Kitchen/Bath layout model and linked that model into your Arch model. Now you want to use the elevations from the link to set up views in your model?

i don't think By Linked View works like that. By Linked View applies the view display settings (object styles, detail level, visibility style, etc) not Location.

Thanks for replying! Do you have a suggestion on how to access these views then? I'm just unsure how to get them to show up in the project browser so I can then make a sheet in the host model.

You cannot access those views from the link via the browser. You have to create sections, elevations, plans in your model, set the link in each view to by linked view, and select the view you want to pull from the list of available views.
