Linked Topography Surface Issues

Hello -

We are attempting to link the topography surface provided by our Landscape Architects into our Revit model. We have done this in the past with no major issues.

However, the surface in revit looks significantly different than the surface they see in Civil. I've attached screenshots that show the comparison and have highlighted a couple of the problem areas. Any idea what is happening here? Your help is much appreciated! I've also posted in the Civil3D forum to see if they have any ideas.

Have you tried to do this in Revit 2023? You will get better results. Even better if you get a list of points from the civil drawing, and use that to create a topography from the list of points.

Hello. Thanks for your response.

We just switched our whole office to 2024...that's frustrating!

Will the .csv list of points recognize breaklines, etc. that are made in Civil 3D?

Since Revit 2024 introduced Toposolid linking TIN Surface from Civil 3D became impossible. It seriously impeded our workflows. We (The architecture team) are used to getting Civil 3D file with TIN surface in it from our Civil team. We would go to their DWG file and publish Surface to ACC. It used to work up until the introduction of Toposolid.
Now when I link published TIN surface it never gets in the right place.
Autodesk braking Revit.
